At first glance, Anna's (Diane Lane) life is ideal and carefree. She is married to a very successful Hollywood producer (Alec Baldwin), constantly traveling and meeting new people. But everything is only beautiful at first glance.
Indeed, Anna is tired of her glamorous life. Her husband is more concerned with his work than his wife's well-being, she is also tired of traveling and, it seems, nothing makes her happy anymore. After a stay in the South of France, she decides to return to Paris. And then her husband's business partner (actor Arnaud Viard) appears. He suggests that Anna travel to Paris by car, because he is just on the way! She agrees and the surprises begin.
