Literature is life, its fullness and entirety. It is not paper and ink, but the widest scale of emotions, events, knowledge, plots, and life destinies imaginable. Therefore, the literary museum stores not only writers' manuscripts, but also a wide variety of exhibits that reveal the context of creativity, the personalities of writers, their manners and hobbies. Those objects, photographs, and manuscripts become symbols that tell stories of the past, speak of personalities with unconventional, exceptional thinking and talent, who have influenced our present.
The exhibition tells the story of 10 special, unexpected exhibits from the Maironis Lithuanian Literature Museum, which intrigue and tempt you to come and experience everything firsthand.
The exhibition will be on display at the Birštonas Public Library, on the 2nd floor, until January 25.
