Niko - sure knows what he wants to be when he grows up! Like dad, to work in Santa's flying reindeer team, to fly through the sky in a huge sleigh among the constellations and to deliver gifts to children around the world on a magical Christmas night. Only special deer can perform these duties - fast, brave, intelligent and ready to overcome the most difficult obstacles.
Stela, an energetic deer, is in a hurry to take the entrance test, and she doesn't even think about giving up! Although Niko and Stella compete with each other in magical tasks, they like each other and quickly become best friends. Niko shows Stella where Santa's magical sleigh is hidden, and then the unexpected happens… the sleigh mysteriously disappears….
Shocked by such betrayal, Niko decides to find the stolen sled himself. The deer, accompanied by his loyal little helpers - the cheerful good-hearted squirrel Julius and the brave weasel Vilma - embarks on a dangerous journey through the icy North. They must fly across the Eternal Sea to find Stella's home, where they also learn an old secret - Stella and Nick's fathers once had a big fight. Now Niko and Stella must put their differences aside and join forces to stop Stella's dad's sinister plans to cancel Christmas forever!
