about

The “Sea Scouts for the Uninitiated” camp is a week-long adventure and introduction to Sea Scouts. Sea Scouts are distinguished by their traditions, program and experience in the water. In our camps, in addition to basic scouting knowledge, we prepare children for a safe encounter with water: we get acquainted with various lifesaving equipment, rafts and kayaks. Using the scout methodology and experience in the water that has been around for over 100 years, we step by step expand the comfort limits and experience of children. Children gain more self-confidence and become more independent. At least one experienced Sea Scout leader participates in the camps together with a group of 12-15 children. During the program, we will learn to build scouting equipment from wood and ropes, set up shelters. We will have fun and interesting scouting training: how to make a fire and cook a meal, use a knife safely, provide first aid and not get lost in critical situations, how to behave safely in the water, inflate and safely float on a raft, orient yourself and not get lost in nature. We will apply all the acquired experience in practice. We will have day hikes on water and land, outdoor cooking, archery, survival in nature, orienteering, knot tying, kayaking, canoeing, Viking boat, paddle boarding, etc. This is a scouting world full of adventures, with traditions, strategic and team games, an evening program by the campfire and other scouting surprises. We invite you to this week full of adventures and experiences!
