There are people who travel often. There are people who travel a lot. And then there's Danas Pankevičius - a man who travels so much that his GPS needs a salary.
While we're trying to survive a five-hour Ryanair flight with a non-reclining seat, Dan changes so many time zones in a year that for his body, the New Year starts every three weeks.
While my friends and I are arguing about whether it's worth ordering a taxi because the center is "only a 20-minute walk away," Dan has been trying to sneak into a closed country for several days, where even the navigation system doesn't know where he is.
He was everywhere. EVERYWHERE If the country has a flag, he was there. If it doesn't, he probably was too. From shiny megacities to villages where people saw more cows than tourists. From places where he was welcomed as an honored guest to places where they tried to understand how he got here in the first place.
And now he will finally stop in one place for at least a few hours to tell everything!
This won't be another boring lecture about travel. This will be a party of travel stories. There will be stories, there will be adventures, there will be things that will make you love your couch even more. Come, because after this evening, no one will be interested in your "how I got lost in a Polish gas station" story anymore.
However, he is the only Lithuanian to have traveled to every country in the world! Because of this achievement, he is also included in the Lithuanian Book of Records!
